Stress free lifetime

A stress-free lifestyle has the potential to significantly reduce depression. Here are seven effective strategies for reducing stress: 1. Be happy and express your enjoyment. Laugh hard and loud. If you dont have a sense of humor, find someone else who has. Laughter releases endorphins (happy chemicals) from the body, and it helps boost your immune system. 2. Take Charge of Your Schedule and Time. If you have a good handle on your job, relationships, and other activities, you'll be much better able to handle stress. When you are in control, you are more inclined to stay focused and calm. Use your time effectively. Keep in mind to allow for both positive and negative unforeseen events. Be adaptable in rearranging your agenda. Get up 15 minutes before sunrise. To get to each appointment, allow an additional 15 minutes. Do not put off important or pressing tasks. Whatever needs doing, do it immediately. Do the unpleasant tasks early, so that you wont have to worry about them for the rest of the day. Keep an appointment or record book. Do not merely rely on memory. Do your tasks one thing at a time at a time. Concentrate on the present, whether it's the person you're speaking with or the task at hand. This helps you to avoid making errors – which lead to more tension and anxiety. Be patient in waiting. Impatience-induced anxiety can raise blood pressure. Say no to requests that you cannot accomplish. Delegate small jobs. You must remember that you dont have to do it all yourself. Crack a job into separate tasks and assign them to people with the suitable skills. 3. Get Fit Strive to get some regular exercise, whether it's brisk walking, swimming, or something else that piques your interest. Engage in a sport you enjoy. Stress can be significantly reduced through aerobic exercise. Work out also improves sleep and gives you time to think and focus on other things. It also promotes the release of natural soothing chemicals in your body. However, avoid overexerting yourself because doing so could be harmful and exacerbate depression. 4. Look for a support group. Youll be able to manage stress much better if you have other people helping and supporting you. Did you know that married people and people who are outgoing (always meeting with friends), have considerably low levels of stress in their lives? Choose positive friends who are not worriers. Friends who continually put you down or talk gloomily about life will increase your anxiety. Speak about a problem with a trusted friend to get it off your chest. An excellent form of therapy is calling an old friend across the world. Pardon others instead of holding grudges. Slow down your standards for yourself and others. Dont expect too much. Happiness does not come from perfectionism. Become more flexible and adaptable to your environment. Be open and honest with your boss and coworkers. Make inquiries. Repeat instructions that you are given. Clarifying directions at the start of a project can save lots of time later rectifying out misunderstandings. Be honest in your dealings with others. Lying and cheating leads to stress. 5. Slowly and deeply breathe. Calm down your muscles, escalating your stomach and chest. Slowly exhale. Do it again several times. Follow your breath as it flows in and out. Do not attempt to exert control over it. This is a great way to unwind during any activity. You can discover a breathing pattern that feels comfortable and natural to you through this practice. Make use of this yoga technique: Inhale slowly, counting to eight. Exhale through your mouth, even more slowly, counting to sixteen. Make a sighing sound as you exhale, and feel tension dissolve. Do it again 10 times. 6. Eat nutritious foods at the right time. Never skip meals, especially breakfast. No matter how busy you are, take a moment to savor your meals. Snack on healthy treats when you go to the office or the mall. Your health and lifestyle depend on eating a well-balanced diet. For instance, researchers have discovered that anxiety symptoms can be brought on by even minor deficiencies in thiamin, a B-complex vitamin. Pantothenic acid, another B-complex vitamin, is critical during times of stress. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and large amounts of sweets, which can worsen symptoms of stress. 7. Live with optimism. Count your blessings, particularly when everything seems to go wrong. Believe that many other people are living in worse conditions than you are. Dont exaggerate the complexity of your problems. There is a way to solve any issue. Finding that solution is all that is required. Learn to be joyful and to appreciate the blessings of life. Live one day at a time.

How to deal with stress, how it affects your skin and health, and how to reverse the clock Stress comes in many forms, workplace stress, family stress, grief over loss of a loved one, etc… Some can be avoided, but as we know, many cannot. Some people handle stress better than others, and some even thrive onit.Regardless, stress takes its toll. It has been demonstrated that stress depletes your body of numerous necessary vitamins and minerals. Particularly B, C, and E vitamins. This leads to lethargy, lower focussed mental activities (clinically stress causes more erratic brain activity and a reduction in short term and long term memory), drying out and aging of the skin (in some), and in others a increase in the sebaceous gland activity – which usually brings postules, acne, and rosacea – which all bring more stress as we then become more entangled in how others view our physical appearance. We cannot stop all stress, but we can take steps to stop or limit its toll on our skin and body. Take a full vitamin suplament every day. Eat a well balanced diet – especially fish meat like salmon (high in omega 3’s which is proven to increase brain function and cellular activity, but it also is proven to reduce the aging process of the skin and make cuts and bruises heal faster). Eat more raw fruits and vegetables – atleast 5 servings per day – you will see a notable difference in 4-6 weeks and you will feel better (along with better colon health. Exercise more frequently. Aerobic exercise has been shown to increase your body's capacity to deal with oxidants and to release powerful hormones that actually counteract the harmful chemicals and effects of stress. I can’t say enough about meditation and prayer. Study after study have proven a reduction in every skin and body malody even cancer symptoms from people that pray and meditate daily. Take 20 minutes every day and do this you will also live longer. Skin peels are gaining popularity as a quick fix. Skin peels will remove the outermost layers of skin, revealing skin that is cleaner and more youthful. The most effective are TCA peels and phenol peels (phenol peels are dangerous and should only be performed by a licensed plastic surgeon). Trichloroacetic acid, or TCA, is a medium-depth skin peel that can treat most skin conditions, including aging skin, sun damage, and even acne. A TCA peel can safely accomplish everything that no other skin peel can. So there you have it: 500 words about clear, younger skin. Great advice to follow and don’t forget to always run anything new by your doctor. They are licensed for a reason and know whats best for you. by your doctor. With Christmas just around the corner, many people are racking their brains trying to figure out what gifts to give to everyone. In addition to the other stresses we face every day, it's difficult to find time to shop. (No, I am not going to try to sell you anything or suggest gifts here.) With all of the shopping and partying that needs to be done, holidays bring their own stress. We must be ready to deal with it before it arrives because for some, it will be the straw that breaks the camel's back. Stress is a natural human emotion. We will never be able to get rid of it completely. In point of fact, you wouldn't want to completely eliminate it because, believe it or not, stress is also beneficial to your health. Stress revs up our internal engines and makes us ready to take action. The problems arise when we dont take care of the situations at hand. Even though this keeps our engines running, we are not moving. Life is not meant to be lived like a F1 race. Lily Tomlin once said, Some people say life is a rat race. If we maintain that attitude, you will continue to be a rat even if you win. There is no need for life to be a rat race. As we learn to incorporate balance into our lives, we can learn to live with stress. How should we deal with stress? Getting enough sleep is the first step in dealing with stress. This is the first area that people fail in. They feel that because there is so much to do they need to cut back on sleep in order to get more time in their day. This is a never-ending downward spiral because the less sleep we get, the more exhausted we become, the less able we are to cope, and the more stressed we become. Dealing with stress does not depend on the quantity of time we have but on the quality. If we are well rested we are clear headed and able to come up with solutions to our problems. If we are overtired we will accomplish little and keep going in circles. Try and find a balance in your sleep cycle. Go to bed the same time each night and get yourself into a routine that your body can count on. Rule number one: Get more sleep. Rule #2 Eat a balanced diet. What relationship does stress have with diet? Everything! Our bodies need to run as a well tuned engine. If we feed it crap you will feel like crap. To keep things running smoothly, you need to eat a well-balanced diet of fruits and vegetables and drink a lot of water. Rule #3 Stop Procrastinating Procrastination is the biggest stress producer. If you dont have time to tackle your problems all at once at least put aside some time each day to work on a part of the problem. Take care of it in little chunks and before you know it the problem is gone. A Mountain is moved one stone at a time. Start moving your stones and youll get rid of your mountain. Rule #4 Manage Your Time Effectively Time, like money, must be budgeted as well. You only have so many hours in a day and they must be used judiciously. Balance here is the key. Make sure to take some time to work, deal with problems and relax. You must be sure to include relaxation time for yourself, even if it is only 15 minutes a day. Include it in your schedule and ensure that you take time for yourself. Even if you must go to your room and lock the door to get it, be sure to do it. There are many things you can do to relax and get your mind at ease. A short walk in the fresh air can help calm nerves and give you time to think about your life. Other choices would be a nice, warm bath, or a quiet spot where you can meditate. Mediation does not have to be anything grand or complicated. Just find some quiet time and let all cares out of your mind. For fifteen minutes, do nothing. I find it easier to imagine a black screen in front of me. Every time a thought comes through my mind I remind myself that I do not want to think right now. My black screen is on. Just do nothing, think nothing, be totally at peace for 15 minutes. It will do wonders for you. After you will find that you can think much more clearly. A quiet mind brings about answers that you would never usually think of. Last but not least, how you respond to stress will determine how it affects you. Stress is like the bully at school who keeps coming around to taunt you. You can let him have your candy or you can stand up and do something about it. Your decision is final. May the Christmas season bring you peace. God, give me the peace to accept what I can't change. Courage to change the things I can And the wisdom to know the difference
